Size guide
When it comes to ensuring a secure and reliable tubeless setup for your bike, choosing the right rim tape is essential. The tape is applied to the inner surface of the rim, it helps to prevent punctures, ensures an airtight seal, and enhances overall tire performance.
The choice of size depends on the type of rim you have, hooked or hookless. Hooked rims have bead hooks that hold the tire in place (icon at the left). Hookless rims lack these bead hook, have a straight vertical edge and often require wider tapes to ensure a proper fit and seal (icon at the right). The type of rim affects the inner width of the rim, so crucial to measure the it accurately. When measured, add 2 - 4mm to the inner width of the rim, and it will be securely sealed and cover the spoke holes effectively.
